Most glazes have no protective qualities so always follow with a wax or sealant. Ceramic protectants coatings provide a much higher durability than wax. Wax on the other hand simply sits on top of the paint s surface. Moreover having a ceramic coating means that you will no longer have to wax your vehicle every few months eliminating a significant part of maintaining your car s exterior. Thus a ceramic coating does not make your vehicle maintenance free but it does mean that with less work you will be able to maintain better results. Applying a glaze to a vehicle s surface makes it appear shinier and more vivid.

Glaze doesn t add any additional sheen and can t be buffed. Clean slate isn t just wax free it will also strip away any remaining sealants waxes or glazes.
