When it comes to keeping pipes from freezing water supplies and drain lines are two different animals. This can cause a burst pipe but even a small crack or two can be the start of some devastating and expensive water and plumbing damage. To keep them insulated choose one of these two installation methods. The risks of freezing are unique and so are the solutions.
